The role
A prominent UK infrastructure and engineering organisation seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team. The role involves advising on construction, engineering, and commercial contracts throughout their lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements such as NEC and JCT. The successful candidate will support operational stakeholders with pragmatic legal advice, help manage disputes, and contribute to legal process improvements. It requires strong contract law expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate independently. The position offers the opportunity to develop legal frameworks and participate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Experience in in-house legal roles within construction or engineering sectors is preferred.
