The role
Design and own the end-to-end AI Flywheel, from data mining and active learning to training, validation, and deployment.
Build and maintain multi-node distributed training pipelines using PyTorch DDP, Horovod, or Ray.
Develop smart data mining strategies to prioritize valuable training data from petabyte-scale logs.
Automate model evaluation, selection, and closed-loop deployment to accelerate iteration.
Create packaging and rollout infrastructure for models across Kodiak’s autonomous fleet and AI platform.
Ensure reliability, reproducibility, and scalability to learn from millions of real-world miles.
