The role
The role entails designing and delivering high-voltage electrical systems for renewable energy and battery energy storage projects, including grid connection and control systems. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, model electrical plant items, and ensure compliance with grid connection standards such as G59 and G99. They will provide technical expertise in HV design, project management, and technical assurance, supporting both feasibility studies and detailed engineering. Candidates should have a solid understanding of various battery chemistries, control systems, and energy infrastructure. Skills in project execution, client liaison, and technical problem-solving are essential, as well as experience with regulatory standards.
