The role
This is a travel-based position focused on outage projects, performing production-style welding on industrial boiler tubes inside boilers.
Candidates must hold their code qualification (6G tube test) and be proficient in TIG, MIG, or stick welding.
Responsibilities include tube installation, end-prep with grinders, welding and bolting components, testing boilers, and routine maintenance.
You will read and interpret diagrams and blueprints, work safely under industry standards, and ensure high-quality welds.
The role operates across the Northeast-Mid-Atlantic, with lodging provided, per diem, and travel reimbursement.
Shifts are 12 hours (7/12s) during forced outages or scheduled shutdowns, on the road as needed.
