The role
Turton School is seeking a housekeeper to support cleaning and maintenance tasks within the school premises. The role involves ensuring the environment is hygienic and safe for pupils and staff, with duties including cleaning and supporting the housekeeping team. Candidates should have a flexible attitude, enthusiasm, and activity levels suitable for a school environment. The position is part-time, with options for morning or afternoon shifts, and is available during term time plus three weeks on a permanent basis. Technical skills such as cleanliness standards and health and safety compliance are essential. All staff will undergo pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure.
