The role
Lead multi-year roadmaps for perception model systems, defining requirements for data extraction, training pipelines, and inference with attention to latency, scale, and budget.
Architect and evolve large-scale data, training, and inference systems that support very large datasets and hundreds of model developers.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to maximize platform sharing and performance for scalable ML development.
Drive cross-functional execution across perception and infrastructure teams to deliver efficient ML workflows.
Translate user and product needs into robust end-to-end solutions that improve development velocity and reliability.
Requires 15+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record in designing large-scale ML data, training, and inference systems, plus strong leadership and collaboration skills; coaching and growing engineers is a plus.
