Respond to breaking news on your beat and deliver accurate stories under tight deadlines.
Travel on short notice for field assignments and craft multimedia packages with video, interviews, photos, and graphics.
Develop and maintain a robust network of criminal, legal, and police sources.
Pitch daily stories and execute assignments, collaborating with digital teams to optimize SEO and audience reach.
Demonstrate strong AP style writing, proficiency with PACER, Lexis-Nexis, FOIA requests, and AI tools to accelerate research in a fast-moving news cycle.
