The role
A Network Automation Engineer supports the development and maintenance of automated network solutions to improve operational efficiency, visibility, and incident response. The role involves applying Python scripting, understanding network fundamentals, and supporting automation within a structured engineering environment. Candidates should have experience in network operations, scripting, and infrastructure support with knowledge of Python, REST APIs, and JSON data exchange. A fundamental understanding of enterprise networking concepts such as routing, switching, wireless, and SD-WAN is essential, alongside familiarity with monitoring tools and Linux troubleshooting. The position requires the ability to follow operational processes, a willingness to learn new skills, and experience with version control systems and incident management processes.
