The role
A factory operative is sought to work in Downton, involving the operation of saws and assisting in assembly and material handling. The role requires manual handling skills and the ability to follow instructions efficiently, with experience working with metal advantageous. The operative will support various departments, handling raw materials and preparing parts, sometimes using forklifts. The position requires a strong attention to detail and basic knowledge of handheld tools, working Monday to Friday with early finish on Fridays.
