The role
The Claims & Compliance Associate provides critical support for cargo claims by coordinating intake, collecting documentation, and liaising with internal teams, carriers, and insurers to resolve claims accurately and promptly.
Maintain and organize claim files, monitor deadlines, and assist with formal claim notices and regulatory timelines (e.g., 49 CFR Part 370).
Assist incident and accident investigations by gathering facts, timelines, and evidence (non-legal, fact-finding support).
Secondary duties include carrier vetting, insurance verification, documentation audits, and risk reviews to support security and compliance initiatives.
Collaborate with Carrier Sales, Operations, Track & Trace, and other internal teams, communicating professionally and using shared systems for tracking and reporting.
Opportunity for growth in claims management, fraud prevention, and broader risk management as processes and tools evolve.
