The role
Line 1: We are seeking a seasoned transactional real estate attorney to support a growing restaurant portfolio.
Line 2: Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of ground and shopping center leases and related documents (guaranties, memorandums of law, recognition agreements, waivers, site plans, work letters, estoppels, and SNDAs).
Line 3: Perform and oversee due diligence, including title and environmental reports.
Line 4: Manage outside counsel and in-house team members on lease work, and resolve lease-related litigation and compliance matters.
Line 5: Provide counsel to lease administration, development, and marketing teams; advise on risk and ensure alignment with company policies and laws.
Line 6: Develop scalable processes, leverage technology to improve review/management of real estate documents, and identify material risks for management.
