The role
Lead revenue recognition and technical accounting for federal contracts, applying ASC 606 to ensure accurate recognition.
Identify performance obligations, determine transaction price, and assess variable consideration and contract modifications.
Evaluate principal versus agent arrangements for subcontracting, pass-throughs, and teaming agreements.
Collaborate with Contracts to interpret terms affecting revenue, billing, and cost recognition, and maintain compliant documentation for audits.
Enhance automation, data quality, and internal controls across the revenue cycle; drive policy updates and standardization.
Provide training to project managers and project finance; support financial reporting, footnotes, and audit schedules.
