The role
Lead and coach a team of reporters to produce impactful, context-rich business and suburban coverage.
Guide coverage strategy to address topics that matter to key audiences, collaborating with digital strategists and audience analysts to adjust based on data.
Oversee content creation and ensure a steady flow of high-quality content across platforms, delivering the right elements at the right time.
Champion investigative and First Amendment reporting while monitoring real-time metrics to align with audience needs.
Partner with marketing, advertising, and production teams on content initiatives, including native advertising and content sponsorships.
Demonstrate strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills; require a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years in media management, analytics, and deadline-driven environments; SEO and social media knowledge.
