The role
An industrial engineer in London will assess production schedules, optimise processes, and implement technological upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce waste. The role involves designing control systems to minimise costs and standardising production procedures in collaboration with management and staff. Responsibilities include preparing material lists, developing layouts and determining personnel needs, alongside training staff on new processes and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in process optimisation, quality control, and industrial automation, with skills in data analysis and project management. The position requires a B.Tech or M.Tech degree, and familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Technical expertise in industrial instrumentation, simulation modelling, and supply chain management is essential for success.
