The role
Investigate driving behavior issues from logs and identify root causes to inform corrective actions.
Improve the performance of state-of-the-art machine learning models used in planning.
Develop foundational frameworks that advance planner capabilities and enable scalable deployments.
Expand the impact of ML models while preserving interpretability and behavioral guarantees across safety-critical scenarios.
Contribute to solving challenging long-tail driving situations and broaden the planner's coverage.
Requirements: Masters or PhD in Computer Science or ML; proficiency in C++ or Python; production ML experience; AV/Robotics experience preferred; 8+ years of software engineering in complex systems.
