The role
Design and implement large-scale recommendation systems powering discovery across platform surfaces.
Develop ranking, retrieval, and personalization models using multimodal data, LLMs, and generative AI.
Collaborate with applied researchers, engineers, and product teams to accelerate experimentation and innovation.
Translate research into production systems that impact hundreds of millions of daily users.
Architect scalable ML pipelines and advanced attention mechanisms (sparse/linear) for efficient personalization.
PhD (or pursuing) in CS/Engineering with a strong publication record and proficiency in Python, C++, Go, or Java.
