The role
Lead investigative journalism and high-impact news projects from concept through post-production.
Provide editorial oversight, shaping story ideas, vetting leads, and guiding editorial direction in collaboration with executive leadership.
Oversee production pipelines from pre-production and field shoots to post-production, ensuring timelines, quality, and compliance.
Manage and coach a team of field producers, journalists, editors, and videographers in a fast-paced environment.
Coordinate with legal, communications, and digital publishing teams to ensure accuracy, fairness, and legal compliance.
Source outside experts and whistleblowers, uphold First Amendment principles, and maintain journalistic ethics and integrity.
