The role
The Construction Manager or Construction Assurance Manager supports the safe delivery of major railway station projects, ensuring compliance with UK railway standards. The role involves conducting site inspections, audits, and assurance reviews in live rail environments. Candidates should have proven experience in site management, a strong background in M&E or civils, and railway project experience, alongside valid Sentinel PTS and SMSTS qualifications. Responsibilities include reviewing construction plans, producing inspection reports, and identifying risks for continuous improvement, fostering safety and quality. Building effective stakeholder relationships and supporting compliance across the project phases are essential. Night shifts are common, with occasional day work and travel to multiple project locations, with costs covered where applicable.
