The role
Provide day-to-day employment law guidance on wage and hour compliance, hiring, discipline, performance management, and terminations.
Advise on workplace accommodations, leaves of absence, and employee benefits issues.
Manage and coordinate employment-related litigation, arbitrations, and administrative charges, including drafting position statements and overseeing outside counsel.
Review pleadings, supervise discovery, and negotiate settlements while shaping strategy.
Draft, review, and enforce employment-related policies, separation agreements, and other critical employment documents.
Monitor evolving legal developments, deliver HR training and best practices, and advise cross-functionally on industry-specific compliance trends (FINRA/U-5 knowledge a plus).
