The role
Lead cutting-edge research on vulnerabilities and defenses for LLMs and AI agents, including jailbreaking, prompt injection, and red-teaming techniques.
Design and drive security research to identify AI-specific threats and develop novel mitigation strategies.
Develop evaluation frameworks to quantify reliability and safety of AI agents, with attention to privacy-preserving approaches.
Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to translate research findings into practical, production-ready solutions.
Publish research findings in top-tier AI and security conferences and contribute to the broader research community.
Work in a hybrid setting (onsite and remote as determined), based in Austin, TX with 5-10% travel as needed.
