The role
This role involves analysing complex groundwater, hydrogeological and environmental data to support technical assessments and project execution. The engineer will develop, calibrate and validate groundwater models to inform environmental projects and produce high-quality technical reports for stakeholders. They will lead small project teams, overseeing task allocation and mentoring junior staff, while managing projects from inception to completion within set budgets and timelines. Coordination with regulatory bodies and stakeholders is essential to ensure compliance with environmental legislation and standards. The position requires engaging in site investigations, fieldwork, and applying practical engineering judgement to develop effective solutions. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and experience in groundwater or hydrogeological consultancy are necessary.
