The role
A mid-level Django developer with at least three years’ experience is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Django and Django REST Framework. They will write efficient PostgreSQL queries, manage database schema changes, and participate in code reviews, ensuring security and quality standards are met. Collaboration with frontend teams and troubleshooting stack issues are key parts of the role, along with contributing to technical documentation and working within CI/CD pipelines using Git. Candidates should have strong Python and PostgreSQL skills, alongside experience with Linux environments. Nice-to-have skills include Docker, AWS, and frontend frameworks, complemented by excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills.
