The role
A legal professional is responsible for drafting and negotiating supply chain agreements, including design, engineering, licensing, and confidentiality contracts. They provide legal advice to internal teams on contractual matters, identifying and mitigating legal risks while ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and regulations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, procurement, and engineering is key to aligning contractual terms with business objectives, drafting favourable terms, and resolving disputes efficiently. They review contracts, prepare legal documents, policies, procedures, and conduct legal research, summarising key legal risks. The role requires strong drafting skills, commercial understanding, and interpersonal skills, preferably with experience in manufacturing and production environments.
