The role
A Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, analysing, and testing high voltage and powertrain components using CAD software such as Catia V5. They interpret and create engineering drawings with a good understanding of geometric tolerancing, and communicate effectively in a technical environment. The role involves developing innovative solutions, prioritising tasks within project deadlines, and ensuring precision and quality in engineering deliverables. Candidates should have experience with electrical drive systems, FEA simulation tools, and automotive programmes, along with a relevant engineering degree and Chartered status. The position requires strong organisational skills, creativity, and adaptability to dynamic work conditions, supporting collaboration within a team of specialists.
