The role
Design and deploy machine learning models that estimate weather conditions from camera images, LiDAR, and radar data for the autonomous driving platform.
Translate weather-related needs from customer teams into actionable ML features and modeling approaches.
Build scalable data pipelines and evaluation systems to rapidly launch and assess weather prediction models.
Collaborate with perception, platform, and behavior teams to integrate weather signals into sensing, planning, and driving decisions.
Experiment with supervised and few-shot learning, multimodal fusion, and Vision-Language Models to improve robustness in challenging conditions.
In a hybrid role reporting to a Technical Lead Manager, focus on tooling, experimentation, and scalable model deployment.
