Registered Nurse RN Progressive Care Unit PRN
Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit for pre-operative and post-operative patients during night shifts. Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and communicate findings to the medical team. Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical therapies. Document care accurately in the patient record and ensure timely, thorough charting in the electronic medical record. Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary staff, and the patient family to support safe transitions and optimal outcomes. Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring, vital signs, and adherence to safety and infection prevention protocols.
