The role
Lead the technical direction and strategy for the Community Health ML team, focusing on safeguarding the platform from fake accounts and inauthentic engagement.
Build, deploy, and maintain real-time risk detection systems and scalable ML solutions (including NLP and graph-based methods) to identify and mitigate abuse.
Architect robust pipelines and enforcement mechanisms, ensuring reliability, performance, and explainability of models in production.
Manage day-to-day operations of the ML engineering team, fostering technical excellence, mentorship, and continuous delivery of key initiatives.
Partner with Product, Data Science, and Operations to define the technical roadmap, set milestones, and ensure timely, impactful outcomes.
Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while upholding a culture of safety and user trust.
