The role
The Production Worker supports plant operations across coating lines, slitting, shipping, receiving, paint vault, and packaging.
Safely operate cranes, forklifts, and upenders to move bare coils and maintain material flow without damage.
Trim, package, and band finished coils to customer specifications using skids, bands, pads, and wrapping materials.
Read and interpret production schedules; identify proper skid and packaging per schedule; record coil weights and order numbers.
Load or unload coils to and from trucks; inspect coils for defects and report issues.
Work 12-hour rotating shifts (including weekends); starting pay is $21.09/hr with advancement to $22.35–$29.73/hr.
