The role
A global asset manager is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join their data team focusing on commodities and energy trading. The role involves leading data strategy, overseeing data capabilities, and mentoring team members. The candidate will work with risk, compliance, and trade surveillance data, ensuring data quality and integration within the organisation. Skills required include SQL, PowerBI, Python, and data modelling, with experience in financial services and cross-asset derivatives. The role offers a hybrid work model with three days in the office and a salary of up to £115,000 plus bonuses and benefits. The ideal applicant will have at least five years’ proven data analysis experience in financial services, particularly within risk or derivatives.
