Specialised Respiratory Physiotherapist – Liverpool

A 12-month opportunity exists for a dedicated paediatric respiratory physiotherapist at band 7 to work within the community physiotherapy service in Sefton. The role involves assessing, planning, and delivering respiratory care to children and young people with complex health needs across various community settings. The post holder will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide expert advice and education to families, and develop clinical standards based on evidence-based practices. A high level of autonomous decision-making and advanced clinical skills are required to manage acute and long-term conditions effectively. The role extends to working closely with community teams, supporting services across Liverpool and Sefton, and travelling within the region for patient care. The candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical and judgement skills, with a strong emphasis on holistic, patient-centred care.
