The role
The Facilities Compliance Auditor monitors service quality, including cleaning and waste management, by conducting audits aligned with national standards and trust policies. They proactively assess cleanliness, performance, and waste standards across inpatient and outpatient areas, communicating findings to relevant staff and managers. The role involves planning and executing compliance audits, raising issues, and supporting the implementation of action plans to address concerns. They produce audit reports, provide staff training, and input data into management systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping for internal and external reviews. The auditor also monitors building conditions, responds to service issues, and supports special projects, whilst adhering to relevant national and healthcare standards. Flexibility to work across trust sites, including weekends and public holidays, is essential for meeting service demands.
