The role
The Port Cost Control Data Analyst supports the management of large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and develops automated reporting solutions using advanced Excel techniques. This role involves creating interactive dashboards to monitor KPIs and provide insights for strategic decision-making, as well as analysing trends and identifying risks and opportunities. The analyst produces regular reports for various stakeholders, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis through robust data management. Responsibilities include investigating data quality issues, collaborating across teams, and translating complex data into understandable insights. Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data modelling, along with excellent organisation and communication abilities.
