The role
The Project Development Pre-Construction Engineer supports the development of onshore wind projects in the UK and Ireland, focusing on civil engineering and balance of plant inputs during early project phases. They are responsible for technical due diligence, site assessments, civil design reviews, and engineering risk management to ensure project feasibility and compliance. The role involves coordinating civil engineering activities, reviewing designs, and working with stakeholders and external consultants to enhance project delivery. It requires a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, experience in civil design and industry standards, and proficiency with engineering tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The candidate should possess strong collaborative skills, knowledge of health and safety legislation, and a full UK driving license for site visits.
