The role
ENWL is seeking a substation electrician to conduct maintenance and inspections of electrical installations within high voltage substations. The role involves installing and testing wiring systems and circuits, alongside gaining skills in supervising safety standby activities and inspecting LV feeder pillars and cable link boxes. Candidates should have completed an electrician apprenticeship, hold relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications, and possess practical electrician experience. A valid driver’s license is required for the position, which involves working across Greater Manchester.
