The role
Front End Developer (FED)
Responsibilities:
Design and develop user interface elements, screen layouts, and prototypes for AA.com using HTML5, CSS3, JSP, and JavaScript frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production quality code in an Agile environment.
Document and maintain front-end technology standards and procedures.
Communicate technical strategy and rationale to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Mastery of semantic HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS/LESS/COMPASS, JavaScript, and responsive web development techniques.
Proficient in jQuery, jQueryUI, and Java technologies such as Java, JSP, JSTL, Spring-taglib, Apache Tiles, Spring MVC, and Spring Mobile.
Experience with accessible solutions conforming to WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines.
Qualifications:
12 months contract, W2 employment.
Experience in front-end development, responsive web development, and accessible solutions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
