The role
A CompEx-qualified electrician is sought to execute inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment in hazardous areas at various industrial sites including LNG and oil & gas plants. The role involves fault finding, system installation, and project support, requiring strong understanding of technical drawings and industry standards. Candidates must have relevant certifications, including CompEx 01-04 and 2391/4/5, alongside a recognised electrical apprenticeship. The job is field-based, with extensive travel and overnight stays, working within regulated hazardous environments. The position offers ongoing technical training and opportunities for progression into supervisory or project engineering roles.
