The role
Build trusting, long-term relationships with up to 15 youth aged 14-26 to support education, career development, and successful transition to adulthood.
Provide ongoing social-emotional support and assist with academic planning, persistence in postsecondary settings, and living-wage career pathways.
Collaborate with case planners, tutors, specialists, and foster/birth parents to connect youth to quality programs and housing supports.
Facilitate career exploration, apprenticeship and vocational education options, and assist youth in obtaining working papers when needed.
Support aging-out youth with housing stability, independent living skills, budgeting, banking, and landlord advocacy.
Apply trauma-informed, strength-based coaching using Motivational Interviewing and data-informed decisions to remove barriers and measure progress.
