The role
Own the end-to-end ML system development lifecycle, from data ingestion and modeling to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to ensure robust, scalable models.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ML Engineers, enforcing best practices, coding standards, and thorough documentation.
Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and timely updates of deployed models to sustain performance and reliability.
Stay current with AI/ML and software engineering trends; drive R&D to explore new techniques and frameworks.
Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders; develop project plans, analytic methods, and data quality governance.
