The role
A manufacturing engineer in Portsmouth is responsible for developing and improving production processes to enhance efficiency and cut costs. They collaborate with engineering teams to implement new product designs into manufacturing workflows. Troubleshooting and resolving issues within the process ensures quality standards are upheld. They support the deployment of new technologies and equipment to boost production capabilities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Providing technical support and training to production staff is also key. Monitoring data and liaising with suppliers facilitate efficient sourcing of materials and continuous process improvement.
