The role
A Practitioner Psychologist is sought to join the Mental Health Services for Older People in Llandough, working within a progressive psychology directorate. The role involves conducting psychological assessments, formulating treatment plans, and delivering therapy for older adults, including neuropsychological assessments. The psychologist will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to support care and contribute to service development, research, and training initiatives. Skills in CBT, CAT and third wave approaches, along with experience in complex trauma and neurodiversity, are desirable. The position offers opportunities for career progression from Band 7 to 8a, with professional development support. Maintaining professional standards according to HCPC, BPS and health policies is essential.
