The role
An Environmental Engineer is sought to ensure environmental legislation and standards compliance on complex defence projects. Responsibilities include developing environmental documentation such as EMPs, RES, EFM, and ECRs, as well as supporting technical design with environmental integration. The role involves managing audits, reviewing engineering changes, and ensuring environmental requirements are met across the product lifecycle. Candidates must have a degree in a relevant technical field, defence experience, and UK security clearance eligibility. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects while maintaining standards. Strong knowledge of UK MOD standards, environmental legislation, and risk analysis skills are essential for success in this role.
