The role
A Data Scientist is responsible for designing and delivering high-impact data science solutions while working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to define project scope and ensure technical feasibility. They develop scalable algorithms and software architectures for complex data projects and maintain high standards of code quality and rigour during delivery. The role involves building strong client relationships by acting as a technical advisor and guiding project technical direction. They contribute to thought leadership through teaching, public speaking, or open-source projects, shaping the company's reputation. Technical skills required include proficiency in Python, NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and experience with supervised, unsupervised, and NLP techniques. They apply a rigorous scientific mindset to translate complex problems into mathematical frameworks, aiming for measurable real-world impact.
