The role
An industrial engineer in Totton supports operational excellence projects and applies industrial engineering methods to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost efficiency. The role involves leading or supporting cross-functional projects, analysing workflows, and driving process standardisation using Lean and other methods. Candidates are expected to have a degree in industrial engineering or a related field, relevant experience, and proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of warehouse and distribution concepts, layout design, and statistical analysis is advantageous. The role requires collaboration with engineering and operations teams to share best practices and optimise operational metrics.
