The role

The role involves supporting IT services across multiple schools within the Trust, providing first and second line support to staff and students, and assisting with infrastructure projects including network, cloud, and device deployment. The apprentice will install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and network hardware, while supporting cloud services and Microsoft 365 administration. They will log and resolve helpdesk tickets, support IT during events and exams, and contribute to technology projects such as cloud migration. Strong communication skills, organisation, problem-solving ability, and a keen interest in networking are essential, along with GCSE Math and English at grade 4/C or above. A driving licence or driving towards one is advantageous due to travel between sites. The apprenticeship offers a nationally recognised qualification, mentoring, and valuable industry experience.
