Specialty Doctor in Forensic Psychiatry

This role is for a Specialty Doctor in Forensic Psychiatry within the UK, requiring full registration with the General Medical Council and at least two years’ postgraduate experience in psychiatry. The post involves providing psychiatric and physical health care to in-patients, with responsibilities including reviewing patient care, updating records, attending ward rounds, and liaising with multidisciplinary teams. The doctor will work under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist, who provides clinical supervision and mentorship. The role also includes deputising for the Consultant during meetings and collaborating with the Rampton Physical Health Centre for patient care. The position offers opportunities for flexible working arrangements, with a resident on-call rotation among 16 posts, within a supportive and diverse professional environment.
