The role
As a PhD intern, you will conduct data analysis across LIVE-related domains including viewing experience, creator ecosystem, agency management, and algorithm improvement. You will design and maintain metrics frameworks to measure product health, monitor core metrics, and diagnose root causes of metric movements. You will perform scientific evaluations using statistical methods, including A/B testing and causal inference. You will identify growth opportunities through data analytics and collaborate with PMs, MLEs, and R&D to drive product and strategy enhancements. You will research data science theories and methodologies to improve analysis efficiency and develop data product tools. Applicants should be pursuing a PhD in Math, Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields, with strong SQL and Python or R skills.
