The role
A chemical engineer is responsible for supporting projects, optimising processes, and ensuring compliance on an Upper Tier COMAH site. They will work closely with production and engineering teams to improve plant reliability, safety, and performance. The role involves monitoring KPI and utility metrics, leading incident investigations, and supporting management of change procedures. Candidates should possess a degree in chemical engineering or a related field, with at least five years' experience in a chemical manufacturing setting. Knowledge of COMAH regulations, process safety, and project execution are essential, with Chartered Engineer status being advantageous.
