The role
Lead and manage the drafting, negotiation, and review of a broad range of commercial contracts, including technology and data-related agreements.
Provide strategic, practical legal counsel to executives and cross-functional teams within requested timelines.
Drive the contract lifecycle and risk assessment while maintaining adherence to company standards and compliance programs.
Collaborate with IT, marketing, ecommerce, HR, finance, supply chain, and other business units to identify legal risks and offer business-friendly solutions.
Conduct in-depth legal research, stay current on retail regulatory developments, and communicate impact to senior leaders.
Operate with confidentiality and professional ethics, manage outside counsel when applicable, and uphold contract management processes in a hybrid work environment.
