The role
A female personal care assistant is required to support a 62-year-old lady with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy in her home in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, feeding, and maintaining personal hygiene, along with general domestic duties like cleaning. The candidate should enjoy socialising and participate in outings to meals, music events, and theatres. Trustworthiness, flexibility, a positive attitude, humour, and respect for privacy are essential qualities. The position involves working a 4-week rota of approximately 90.5 hours, including weekends and sleep-ins, with a probation period and reference checks.
