The role
Lead day-to-day accounting for assigned nonprofit clients, delivering accurate GAAP financial statements and timely close.
Act as the liaison to client teams, maintaining positive relationships and resolving questions on accounting treatment.
Plan and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to meet established deadlines.
Hire, supervise, and develop team members, coaching staff to handle complex accounting issues.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analyses to support audit readiness.
Lead the external audit process, coordinate with auditors, and ensure regulatory filings such as 990 are completed on time.
